Noel Clarke, the British multi-hyphenate behind the Hood franchise and the hit TV series Bulletproof, will receive this year’s Outstanding British Contribution To Cinema honorary award at the BAFTAs.

It appears that the Great British Bake Off could be getting a rival show on ITV as it has been revealed that a brand new cooking show will be coming to the broadcaster.

On Thursday, Foxtel reportedly confirmed it is in the final stages of negotiation to re-secure the rights to the cooking show, which is based on the UK’s BBC version.

The Great British Bake Off were impressed by actor James McAvoy’s appearance on the recent celebrity edition of the hit cooking show. The Last King of Scotland star appeared on The Great Celebrity Bake Off for SU2C last night (16 March), competing alongside musician Anne-Marie, comedian David Baddiel and athlete Dame Kelly Holmes.
