Whoopi Goldberg is opening up about The View set after the exit of Meghan McCain in 2021.
In a new interview with Page Six, the 66-year-old Oscar winner admitted that the vibe on the set of the talk show has been calmer.
“It’s calmer because nobody wants to be that tired every day,” she shared when asked about the new season, which is without Meghan, and instead, has added Ana Navarro and Alyssa Farrah Griffin to the table.
Whoopi added, “We’ve always had disagreements and stuff, but this one was a little bit different. I think [the show], it’s better. I feel it’s better, but I’m still tired!”
“People felt like they wanted to go home,” she said, speaking of the dynamic behind the scenes versus on camera. “There was no point in fighting. You do what you do and you go home and do what you love to do. And hopefully, everybody is now happier.”
Just recently, Meghan opened up about the moment that made her hand in her two weeks notice.
