During his speech, Biden announced expanded Veterans Affairs coverage for nine respiratory cancers, including “a cancer that would put them in a flag-draped coffin.”
“You put them in. Thirteen of them,” Boebert yelled at him in reference to the terrorist attack outside the Kabul airport last summer that killed 13 U.S. service members. The outburst led to boos, as Biden continued to say that one of those service members killed by cancer “was my son, Major Beau Biden.”
“You should’ve let him say what he had to say,” she said of Boebert.
“And if you were gonna yell something, just hold off! But don’t do it there, because we’re all trying to hear [Biden]. And now we’re talking about you instead,” she continued.
“Don’t talk about the military unless you really want to talk about the military. You can’t do what they do. That’s why we revere them, because they do the stuff we can’t do… Who the hell do you think you are, little girl?” Whoopi continued.
“You don’t have to like this president to be respectful of him talking about the military and his son, who died. You don’t have to like him, but you must be respectful. You’ve gotta be.”
Biden also made a big announcement regarding the Supreme Court.
