With the mysterious Christie clan setting up home at Fraser's Ridge in the sixth season of Outlander, fans are expecting them to play a big part in proceedings.
With patriarch Tom (Mark Lewis) Christie having a past with Jamie Fraser, as well as there being possible religious friction between the two (Jamie is a Catholic and Tom Protestant), the board could be set for some real drama.
Daughter Malva (Jessica Reynolds) is also set to form a close connection with Claire and may become her apprentice, but that leaves brother Allan at a bit of a loose end, what part will he play?
Introducing his character in a short video on the official Outlander page, English actor Alexander Vlahos revealed a little more about what we can expect, he said: "At first appearances, Allan seems like an almost carbon copy of his father.
"But then we quickly realise that he also has a mischievous, playful side to himself. And also a very protective side."
Could this hint at potential strife when it comes to him looking after his sister Malva? Time will tell.
Speaking about the new season, Alexander added: "For Allan, there is a beautiful, complicated, nuanced, very dark storyline that will creep on all the way until the end of season six."
Interesting, though again, we are unnerved by the mention of a "very dark storyline" and what that could mean for the rest of the Fraser Ridge Clan.
