Hogwarts Legacy requires players to collect various items and ingredients to craft new tools. Whether you need seeds to grow yourself a screeching Mandrake, or Leech Juice to brew yourself a stormy Thunderbrew potion, players are going to have to explore the Wizarding World for some key ingredients.
One such ingredient is one that Harry Potter fans will be all too familiar with. Potterheads will remember – all the way back in The Philosopher’s Stone – what came out of the troll’s nose after it attacked Harry, Ron and Hermione in the Hogwarts bathroom.
It is troll bogeys that players will need to find in Hogwarts Legacy if they want to use the invisibility potion and utilise some stealth in battle. But where can you find trolls and troll bogeys?

There are two ways to collect troll bogeys in Hogwarts Legacy, the easiest of which is to buy them. Players can simply take a trip to Hogsmeade and purchase them from J. Pippins Potions for 100 galleons per bogey.
The other way is by defeating one of many trolls which are scattered around the map, in particular at troll lairs. After downing one of these huge beasts, troll bogeys drop to the ground as loot, ready to be collected.

There are several troll lairs scattered around the Hogwarts Legacy map, but perhaps the best area to search is Feldcroft, to the west of the map. In this area players will find two troll lairs.
The first of these is located directly east from the body of water with a small island in the centre. The other is fairly close by, located just south-west from the same body of water.
