Jess Woodley shot to fame as part of the cast of the scripted reality show Made In Chelsea, but unlike a number of her former co-stars, she has since turned her back on fame. Since departing show in 2017 Jess has turned to more spiritual pursuits, and recently has tried her hand at furniture making. Alongside a new look and new career, Jess has spoken out about her stint on TV, revealing that the show left her with trauma, and that she regretted taking part.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, which she shared in 2021, she said: "A little personal note to anyone on here who may be following me from when I was on a reality TV show. "I just want to express how dangerous the nature of mainstream reality TV is.
The affects it can have on human being, to me it felt like I made a decision at a very young age resulting in what feels like identity theft." "Finding my way home has and is taking longer than I expected. I never imagined the repercussions of this choice of mine but here I am faced with a dilemma and to me a trauma.
"We all made mistakes in life this feels like mine if you are following me for the wrong reasons and support reality TV please unfollow me. We need to come together and cancel reality TV.. "People have died I believe it is a very serious matter please respect me like I respect you.
I really really encourage you to erase watching/ supporting these programmes. Be the change." In recent months, Jess has used her social media platform to show off some her furniture-making skills, including a video showing her making a regular size chair, and a mini version.
