Gardner Reed, whose recent credits include Netflix’s King of Collectibles: The Goldin Touch, has been promoted at Wheelhouse Entertainment. He is now SVP, Development.
Reed has worked for Wheelhouse founder Brent Montgomery for over ten years at various companies including Sirens Media, Leftfield Pictures and ITV America.
He was previously VP, Development.
Reed is tasked with focusing on character-driven shows for Wheelhouse’s Spoke Studios, of which he was a founding member in 2018, Wheelhouse DNA, and the company’s UK division, while also working with Wheelhouse partners Kimmelot, Butternut and Majordomo Media.
In addition to King of Collectibles, other recent credits include Netflix’s home renovation series Designing Miami and HGTV’s upcoming home design show Divided by Design.
Reed began his career in television working on Lifetime scripted series Army Wives and had stints at Clear Channel Radio and DC-based Carlyn Davis Casting.
Montgomery said, “Gardner has always had unbridled passion for this space which he converts to series success by unearthing characters that cut through for buyers and viewers – and he does it all with integrity.”
