American indie rockers The National are set to pour their hearts and souls into their headline set at Worthy Farm this year. The band will be closing the Other Stage on Sunday.
Formed in New York in 1999, the US rock group have the top achievement of having their last five albums all chart in the top five of the UK album charts. Earlier this year, the band released two critically-acclaimed albums, First Two Pages of Frankenstein and Laugh Track.
In 2017, The National received a Grammy award for their seventh studio album Sleep Well Beast. They were also nominated for International Breakthrough Act at the 2011 BRIT Awards.

Band member Aaron Dessner also collaborated with Taylor Swift on her 2020 albums Folklore and Evermore, with the singer later making an appearance on the band's 2023 track The Alcott.
So when will The National appear at Glastonbury this weekend? And who will be playing at the same time? Here's all you need to know.
The National will be closing the legendary Other Stage on Sunday. The band will perform for an hour and a half and will be on stage from 9.45pm to 11.15pm. They will take to the stage after Two Door Cinema Club.
The BBC will this year show the five main stages across iPlayer, as well as on BBC One and Two at various points of the weekend. On iPlayer, fans can find continuous live streams from the Pyramid, Other, West Holts, Park and Woodsies stages.
BBC Four will show The National's set from 9.45pm on Sunday evening.
