And Reese celebrated the day by writing a little something on Instagram!  On July 13, Reese, 45, took to social media to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Legally Blonde being released in theaters.

She also had on white framed sunglasses and gave off nostalgic vibes that got fans excited.

It’s hard to imagine anyone other than Luke Wilson playing Elle Woods sensitive other half Emmett in Legally Blonde, but the film’s casting director had someone entirely different in mind to play the part initially.

Luke Wilson almost wasn’t cast as Emmett in Legally Blonde, and the role could’ve been played by Paul Bettany!
