The band are in the midst of their ‘U2:UV Achtung Baby’ residency at the state-of-the-art venue, which kicked off back at the end of September, and is set to run until March 2. U2 will give a special performance and present an award at next week’s Grammys, live from the Sphere in Las Vegas. It will be the first ever official broadcast from the state-of-the-art venue, which has been hosting the ‘U2:UV Achtung Baby’ show since the end of September, and is due to wrap on March 2.The Grammys are taking place on February 4 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, and will be hosted by Trevor Noah. The nominees were announced in November, with SZA picking up the most nominations with nine.

Kylie Minogue after seeing her new aptly named ‘More Than Just A Residency’ residency at Las Vegas’ swanky Venetian Hotel.‘More Than A Residency,’ which is actually equal parts burlesque, acrobatics, variety show and Kylie, is now at the venue’s Voltaire theater, which some may argue was an interesting choice for a residency. The stage is small, and the first level of seating is completely made up of tables, making for a more intimate setting, should you opt for the premium experience.
Chris Willman Senior Music Writer and Chief Music Critic U2 has been added to the Grammys‘ Feb. 4 telecast, and the band won’t have to be leaving Las Vegas to do it. U2’s socials and the Recording Academy joined Friday afternoon in announcing that the group will perform from the spectacular Sphere venue in Sin City, where the band’s months-long residency, “U2:UV Achtung Baby Live At Sphere,” is set to wrap up March 2.
U2 at Las Vegas’ Sphere on Jan. 26-27 started at $737 before fees on Vivid Seats. Now, just six days later, our team found seats going for as low as $420 before fees. While still rather expensive, that’s a whopping $317 (!) in savings just for practicing patience.Given the show’s impressive bona fides; that’s a steal.“The term immersive doesn’t give this production its due justice,” the New York Post wrote in a glowing review of the show.
It’s been rainy in Las Vegas – but that won’t stop us from soaking it all in! Adventure nourishes the soul! @SpringsPreserve
Super Bowl is great. However, nothing beats all the entertainment that comes in the week building up to the game.On Saturday, Feb. 10 — aka Super Bowl Eve — the highly anticipated annual MAXIM Casino Royale Experience presented by Vivid Seats is dropping into Resorts World Las Vegas and bringing some of the biggest names in Hip-Hop and EDM to celebrate Sin City style.Just a few of those icons set to take the stage include the ’00s Hip-Hop legend 50 Cent, Grammy winning superstar 21 Savage, EDM favorite Elderbrook, famed Las Vegas DJ Shift, Ibiza icon Plastik Funk and DJ unKommon.“It is an honor to bring these mega stars of music to Las Vegas for the best Big Game weekend the world has ever seen,” said Seth Kaplan, founder of unKommon events.
Las Vegas’ Sphere can take you there, and then to a few other galaxies along the way.Aside from being the newest piece of eye candy in the already fantastical Las Vegas skyline — pyramids, castles and ferris wheels, oh my! — the recently constructed orb is both a concert venue and an interactive exhibit that is a worth addition to any Sin City getaway itinerary. As casual fans may know, The Sphere is currently the home of U2’s months-long residency and will be hosting four back-to-back Phish concerts in April. However, that’s not all the venue has to offer. In addition to the aforementioned shows, Oscar-nominated director Darren Aronofsky’s “Postcard from Earth” can also be seen at The Sphere. On a recent visit to Las Vegas, we took in a visually sumptuous two-hour experience that included a self-guided tour through the atrium followed by Aronofsky’s film inside the dome. Here are our thoughts on the film. The story of ‘Postcard from Earth’ follows two astronauts of sorts, who we later learn are leaving a depleted Earth to colonize a new planet.

This is the best of the best in Las Vegas!
Apparently, some people do not want this show to go on! Those behind a tribute act to Michael Jackson in Las Vegas claimed the late singer’s estate has been trying to cancel their show — so they’re taking them to court to battle it out now!
Michael Jackson estate have been accused of unfairly threatening to sue a tribute act, MJ Live.On Wednesday (January 17), the orgainisers of MJ Live filed a complaint to the Nevada federal court, requesting the judge rule they could continue their concerts. MJ Live performs six nights a week at the Tropicana; along with other venues, the show has been performed over 3,600 times since 2012.However, MJ Live claim that the Jackson estate has recently begun threatening to sue the impersonators.
MSG Sphere is no gamble.Especially when Rock and Roll Hall of Famers U2 take the stage. On Jan. 25-26, the legendary Irish rockers will return to the now iconic venue to resume their ‘UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere’ residency with two back-to-back concerts. And while Bono and the band typically command full attention from audiences at live shows, the spectacular visuals at the Sphere are tough competition for the 22-time Grammy winners.“It’s a fistfight between the band and the immersive screen,” U2 guitarist The Edge told Wired.
If Blake Shelton is not at the opening of his new venue in Las Vegas – what does that say?
We honestly think there’s SO MUCH MORE to do in Las Vegas than in Los Angeles.
We took a mental health day and headed down to CES in Las Vegas to check out @ChillTheaters and enjoy some Taylor Swift! Perez needed this!!! He also needs someone to go out with him because this would be the cutest date night activity! Chill Theaters is launching this month in the San Francisco Bay Area. Their website is already taking reservations! And, they plan to expand to Vegas, Los Angeles and Austin later this year! What movie would U want to watch here? We gotta do this for P’s birthday to host a Showgirls screening party! Not kidding!!!
Take That are reportedly one step closer to getting a Las Vegas residency, with a venue owner giving the prospect the green light. The iconic ‘90s boyband – now comprised of Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen – first teased the idea of a run of residency shows in Nevada last month, telling fans that the stint would be the last thing on their bucket list. Now, it seems that the idea is now close to becoming a reality, as a venue owner in Sin City has come forward and claimed that he would love to host the trio in the future. The comments came from Michael Gruber, who is the founder of the Voltaire venue at The Venetian. Speaking as part of a new interview with The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column (via Music News), he said: “ “I love Take That.
