'Weird Al' Yankovic's movie starring Daniel Radcliffe gets November release

ABC has picked up drama pilot Will Trent (working title) to series for a midseason launch. Will Trent, starring Ramón Rodríguez, is one of four 2022 ABC drama pilots whose production was pushed to off-cycle and the first of the bunch to land a series order.

Wilson Chapman editorGet ready to crank up that polka music. “Weird: The Al Yankovic Story,” the upcoming Roku original film starring Daniel Radcliffe as the beloved parody musician, will make its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.The film will screen Sept. 8, TIFF’s opening night, as the first film in the festival’s annual Midnight Madness programming series.

AMC’s previously announced “Walking Dead” movie centered on Rick Grimes has been turned into a 6-episode streaming series for AMC+ that will also star Danai Gurira.Lincoln and Gurira joined Chief Content Officer of “The Walking Dead” universe Scott Gimple for a surprise announcement during the “Walking Dead” Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con.
