Wayne Rooney has made a public apology to wife Coleen, their family and to Derby County after photos emerged of him partying with a group of young women.
He also fell asleep in a hotel room with the women and admitted that he ‘made a mistake’.
The 35-year-old ended up paying the women £1 to buy the copyright for the images after making accusations of blackmail.
He made his public apology to Sky Sports News after Derby’s victory over Real Betis and said: ‘I made a mistake.
