Wayne Linker has issued a plea to his estranged brother Gary before his 60th birthday. Wayne turns 60 next week and, ahead of his milestone birthday, he wants to make amends with his brother, 61.The club owner – who resides in Ibiza – is thought to be throwing a star-studded bash for his big birthday, and wants Gary in attendance. Sharing a pair of snaps of them together, Wayne wrote on Instagram: “If there was one person in the world I would love to surprise me at my 60th birthday party next week @obeachibiza it would be this man." He continued: "I don’t think it’s too difficult to work out we’re not as close as we were.” Dozens of Wayne’s 844,000 Instagram followers then proceeded to tag Gary in the comments section of the post, echoing similar sentiments to the former Celebs Go Dating star.
“Come on @garylineker ...life really is too short, pop over,” wrote one person, as Danniella Westbrook said: “I really hope he makes your birthday wish come true Wayne”. “Yes bro, life’s too short,” said someone else, as a fourth person penned: “it’s never too late,” after a string of heart emojis.
