Spider-Man: Homecoming. To celebrate the digital release of , Sony Pictures Entertainment gathered the three actors while they were still filming the third movie and sat them down to capture their reactions to their OG audition tapes. The result? As cute and hilarious as you’d expect.First up is Tom: the British actor storms through a yellow room, jumping into frame with a very impressive backflip. (I guess we could say he literally landed the role? Sorry, we couldn't resist.) Tom’s high-powered entrance, complete with his switch to an American accent, earns a couple of surprised “oooh”s from Z and a sassy “okayyy” from Jacob—all while Tom grins, mortified, of course. The future Spider-Man even threw in a few imaginary wrist-shots of his non-existent webs, which makes the actors laugh even more.Next up? Jacob.
The actor appears on screen with a super formal introduction. He then proceeds to step out of the frame and come back in, now in full-blown Ned mode. “What a cutie!” Z proclaims as soon as Jacob opens his mouth in the throwback clip.
The trio doubles over in laughter, rewinding the clip back to their favorite parts.Last but not least is . Tom and Jacob are just as in awe of her professionalism as we all are. “Yeah, yours is just really good,” Tom says without hesitation after a younger Z delivers her first line.
"It’s just like, watching a good audition tape,” Jacob concurs.After watching the three clips, the trio sits back to reflect. “Well,” says Zendaya. “I'd say they made a good decision.” Agreed.The castmates end the video with a subtle nod to Paul Rudd’s “Look at us” from his appearance on Hot Ones (to keep things in the Marvel family, of course.)
