The British Academy is unveiling the nominations for the 2021 BAFTA film awards on Tuesday, with a virtual announcement being made by BAFTA chairKrishnendu Majumdar alongside Aisling Bea and Susan Wokoma. For the first time, the longlists across all categories have already been announced, part of a major review and overhauling of the film awards rules and regulations introduced late last year aimed primarily at addressing the lack of diversity in the film awards.
