Foo Fighters performing with Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian’s 12-year-old son has been shared online.The clip, which you can view below, shows Revel playing Pat Smear’s Les Paul alongside Dave Grohl and the rest of the band.“Rev gave Pat the day off. He deserves it. He’s the nicest guy ever.
All of these dudes are. I love you Foos. We love you Taylor and Dave and Pat and Chris and Nate and Rami.”Hawkins died on March 25, 2022 in Bogotá, Colombia, hours before the Foo Fighters were set to perform at a festival in the city as part of their South American tour. Foo Fighters have announced a handful of 2024 US tour dates with Nova Twins serving as opening support.The new dates that have been added are part of Dave Grohl and co.’s forthcoming ‘Everything or Nothing at All’ Tour which is set to kick off in May of next year.The newly announced dates will take place on May 1, 2024 at the Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas, Texas followed by the Coastal Credit Union Music Park in Raleigh, North Carolina on May 7 and the PNC Music Pavilion in Charlotte, North Carolina on May 9.Tickets for the newly added dates will go on sale on Thursday, December 14 at 10am local time. Dave Grohl spent his day off on Foo Fighters‘ current Australia tour helping to feed the homeless.Grohl volunteered with the Melbourne-based charity The Big Umbrella Foundation on Friday (December 8), per News.au, treating people in need to “an epic American style BBQ with all the trimmings.” Impressively, he was due to fly to Sydney not long afterwards.The organisation shared a post to their Instagram of Grohl to the BBQ, accompanied by a caption telling the story of how he came to work with them.““It will be a day ‘our friends on the streets’ will never forget as they brushed up against a rock legend and one of the nicest guys on the planet who genuinely cares for people in need.
