But we [want] you to treat this like a rehearsal between us. This is called ‘All My Love’. This is how we feel about all of you.”In the song, the band seem to capture a similar feel to seen on their 2005 album ‘X&Y’, namely on fan favourite ‘Fix You’.
The balled sees Martin singing about how a supportive relationship can survive both the times of stability and turmoil.“We’ve been through lows, been through sunshine, been through the storm/ All the colours of the weather/ we’ve been through high, every corner of the sky. Still we hold it all together. You’ve got all my love,” he sings. The gig also saw a number of famous faces in attendance too, with Luke Evans posting a video of himself in the crowd, alongside Joe Jonas, Kylie Minogue and Liam Hemsworth. In a clip from the gig, Evans, Jonas and Minogue were seen singing along to the rendition of ‘Yellow’.

Jem Aswad Executive Editor, Music It is a plight common to most professional songwriters: Everyone knows their songs, but few people know who they are. And it’s hard to think of a more vivid example of that syndrome than Gerry Goffin, Carole King’s late ex-husband and longtime writing partner, who was responsible for the lyrics of such timeless songs as “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?,” “You Make Me Feel Like a Natural Woman,” “Up on the Roof,” “The Loco-Motion,” “One Fine Day” and dozens more — he wrote the lyrics for a total of 114 Billboard Hot 100 hits for artists including Aretha Franklin, Barbra Streisand, Diana Ross, Rod Stewart, Natalie Cole, James Taylor, Ray Charles, Whitney Houston, Kylie Minogue and of course, King (with whom he is pictured above, in the early 1960s).

Indeed, we say many of the same things about the ceremony in an article very similar to this one every year — it’s a combination of an awards show, a family reunion and a trade event that is invite-only yet features a mind-blowing array of Grammy-level, once-in-a-lifetime performances and tributes, always held at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York’s Times Square.
