NEW YORK — Prosecutors on Monday portrayed former Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein as a serial predator who used his power to manipulate and sexually assault young women, while the defence argued that his accusers engaged in consensual sex that they later reframed as attacks.

Mac Miller’s recently released posthumous album, Circles, was announced as a companion to 2018’s Swimming. As it turns out, the late rapper actually envisioned the projects as two-thirds of a trilogy. Producer Jon Brion, who completed Circles following Mac’s death, spoke about the Pittsburgh native’s plan in a recent New York Times interview.

Mac Miller’s posthumous album, Circles, is all but devoid of guest features, but there may be one famous voice hidden on the album: Ariana Grande. The pop star—who was in a relationship with Miller for several years—likely contributed background vocals on the project’s fifth song, “I Can See,” according to producer Jon Brion.

Mac Miller’s producer pal Jon Brion appears to have confirmed the rapper’s posthumous album features vocals from his ex-girlfriend Ariana Grande.

Since Mac Miller’s posthumous album, “Circles,” came out Friday, many fans have been convinced they heard Ariana Grande’s voice on the track “I Can See.” The late rapper’s reps responded to queries with a “no comment.” Now, his ex-girlfriend’s vocal cameo has been confirmed — or equivocally confirmed, at least — by the record’s producer, Jon Brion.

Ariana Grande is facing a copyright lawsuit over “7 rings,” nearly a year after the track reached No. 1 on the Hot 100. LA-based performer Josh Stone (who uses the stage name Dot) alleged that the pop star’s team lifted his 2017 song “YOU NEED IT I GOT IT.”

Ariana Grande and more than a half-dozen songwriters were sued for copyright infringement on Thursday by a hip hop artist who says the pop star’s 2019 Grammy-nominated single 7 Rings was plagiarized from a song he recorded two years earlier.
