Warwick Davis marks wife Sammy's birthday with heartfelt message

Twitter on Saturday to wish his wife Sammy a belated birthday. Posting a rare snap of his spouse, who he wed in 1991, Warwick, 51, gushed: 'I wanted the world to know, yesterday was my best friend in the whole world's birthday!'He sweetly added: 'My beautiful wife turned 51. I so admire how she faces life's challenges with dignity, energy and courage.
'Warwick's message continued: 'She's an inspiration. Happy Birthday! Love always. 'He also posted a gorgeous photo of Sammy.
Beaming for the camera, the doting mother looked glamorous while sitting in a bustling restaurant. Warwick and Sammy met on the set of his 1988 film Willow. Sammy has a form of dwarfism called achondroplasia while Harry Potter star Warwick was born with an extremely rare condition called spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia congenita (SED), where the bone endings fail to form.

Warwick and Sammy lost two of their children when they were babies and the star opened up about the tragedy in 2018 when he appeared on Bear Grylls. Their first children Lloyd and George inherited two forms of dwarfism from their parents, which proved fatal to the babies. He said: 'Prior to Annabelle and Harrison we had a baby boy, Lloyd, who inherited both our conditions… and that is something that proves fatal.
'It's something that a baby won't survive. But Lloyd he survived for nine days, but yeah he was beautiful… but it was a tough time. And yeah, we had a stillborn too.
