The Department of Health has issued a warning after false advice began circulation on COVID-19.
The inaccurate advice claims to be from a doctor at Stanford Hospital in the US and has been shared on social media.
The post issues 'advice' on reported symptoms, it also suggests a completely false way of checking yourself for coronavirus.
It says to "take a few sips of water every 15 minutes at least" to help wash down the virus as well as claiming it can be "killed by a temperature of just 26/27
