WarnerMedia is giving back to its’ production workers who have been laid off due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In an internal memo via Variety, CEO John Stankey told employees that more “than $100 million” will go to help those crew members whose jobs have been put on pause.
“We have paused many productions for the health and safety of employees, cast, crew and community,” the memo read. “We are stepping up with a commitment of more than $100 million to assist team members of those productions

The U.K.'s COVID-19 Film and TV Emergency Relief Fund, unveiled last month by the British Film Institute and the Film and TV Charity, has now launched with an initial £2.5 million ($3 million) pot to distribute to industry creatives impacted by the crisis.
