Warner Bros. Discovery UK & Ireland has unveiled its senior leadership team, which will work under new General Manager Antonio Ruiz.
The appointments include Clare Laycock taking on Editorial, including Local Content Production, Programming and Media Planning, Neil Marshall handed Theatrical Film Distribution and Local Film Production and Acquisition and Alison Morris leading TV Licensing and Digital Home Entertainment Distribution.
Other moves see Katie Coteman take on Ad-Sales, including Advertising, Digital Ad-Sales, Sponsorships and Sport Solutions; Alex Foley lead on Insights, Strategy and Retail Planning; Alex Lewis – Marketing, Creative Services, Brand Partnerships, Franchise Management, Social Media and Consumer PR; and Rachel Wakley overseeing Retail, Consumer Products, Physical Home Video, Games, Supply Chain and Experiences.
An Affiliate Sales leader and other appointments will followin due course.
Allan Stenhouse will depart the UK & Ireland business to join the Warner Bros Discovery International Television Distribution team leading marketing, reporting to Robert Blair, President of WBD International Television Distribution.
On the appointments Warner Bros. Discovery General Manager, Antonio Ruiz, said: “Since I became General Manager for the UK & Ireland, I’ve been focused on defining our strategy and structure and today I am delighted to announce my new leadership team. Both legacy companies house tremendous talent which makes me even more excited about the organisation we are building for the future as we look to maximise our portfolio of brands, content, products and channels, along with our ambitions to deliver a hugely successful streaming business, in the UK & Ireland.”

Post-production House Warner Bros. De Lane Lea Announce Move To New Soho Site Post-production house Warner Bros. De Lane Lea today announced it will be moving across Soho from its current home on Dean Street to Ilona Rose House, a new site developed by Soho Estates’ on Greek Street. Located over three floors of the building and spanning over 32,000 sq. ft, Ilona Rose House will house the UK’s largest mixing stage. The site will also feature a 4K DCI laser projection with Dolby Atmos and IMAX monitoring, 45 networked and acoustically treated cutting rooms with a programmable advanced lighting system, and three further mixing stages with 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos and laser projection. In a statement, Kim Waugh, EVP Worldwide Post Production Creative Services, Warner Bros. said the new facility will help “bring another level of service to the post-production world in London.” Warner Bros. De Lane Lea, which has post-production credits on films such as Gravity (2013), and the Harry Potter film series (2001-2011), will officially open the doors to Ilona Rose House in September.

VFX Firm DNEG Promotes Chas Jarrett to Creative DirectorDune and Tenet VFX firm DNEG has promoted Chas Jarrett to Creative Director. Jarrett, who is based out of London, joined DNEG as a Senior VFX Supervisor in 2019 and is an industry veteran with credits on films such as Aladdin (2019), Logan, Sherlock Holmes, and Sweeney Todd. He will take over the reins from incumbent DNEG Creative Director and two-time Oscar-winning VFX Supervisor Paul Franklin, who will continue on at the company as a Visual Effects Consultant. In a statement, DNEG Group President, VFX, and Stereo, Josh Jaggars said: “Congratulations to Chas on his well-deserved promotion to Creative Director of DNEG.
