Reports even claimed the 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end asked her father, Scott Swift, for permission to propose to Taylor! Page Six reported earlier this week that the pair talked about their future together — specifically when they would get engaged. They held off on doing the proposal around Christmas as “they don’t want it to seem like it’s rushed insanity.” Taylor and Travis also felt Valentine’s Day was too soon! But in the summertime? The source revealed they believed “their one-year anniversary in July” was the perfect date to get engaged and marked it on the calendar! Or did they??
