Raquel Leviss has some explaining to do…
On Thursday, 31-year-old reality star James Kennedy revealed on Instagram that his furry friend Graham, whom he shared with his former fiancée, had finally “made his way back home.” His announcement came with some adorable snaps of the puppy during the Vanderpump Rules cast trip to Lake Tahoe. So much for her puppy party, huh?! James and Raquel originally adopted the puppy while they were dating in 2018. Once they ended their engagement in 2021, the 28-year-old took ownership of Graham. Now, the pooch is staying with the DJ for good!
Insiders initially told TMZ James learned from his and Raquel’s mutual friend that she wanted to find a new home for Graham. However, she didn’t reach out to her ex and co-star directly. While the outlet noted James seemingly got Graham when his ex went to a mental health facility, that turned out not to be the case!
A source with direct knowledge now revealed to TMZ that Graham was first dropped off at a shelter! He reportedly had some behavior issues, mainly a biting problem. Lisa Vanderpump’s Vanderpump Dog Foundation was somehow notified about the situation and ended up reuniting Graham with James.
Damn. It’s odd that Raquel didn’t think to give her ex-fiancé the dog since they adopted him together… Quite odd…
JK has since taken the pup to training classes – which, luckily, have been successful. The source noted James is ultimately “super happy” to have Graham back. At this time, he hasn’t publicly spoken out about the claims.
