Holidaymakers with trips booked to Spain are being warned after flights to one of the country's major hotspots were all cancelled. The airport on the Spanish island of La Palma closed last week as a result of a huge cloud of ash spewing from a volcanic eruption.

Travel rules for going on holiday abroad are changing next month, with the traffic light system to be scrapped for good.
