Saturday Night Takeaway viewers have reacted to 'awkward' scenes which saw surprise Leap Year proposals sprung on members of the audience.
Hosts Ant and Dec surprised many members of the studio audience and a fan watching at home by turning the camera on them while their loved-one popped the question.
Traditionally February 29 allows women to initiate a proposal of marriage to their man.
But many viewers said they felt uncomfortable watching the proposal segment on the ITV entertainment show.
