It comes as no surprise that 2020’s Pride month looks a little different from years before. With the COVID-19 pandemic still raging on, some of the biggest and most well-known Pride celebrations around the country are going online.

Jesse & Joy initiated Pride Month by dropping a new song called “Love” on their official Instagram page.

To celebrate Pride Month, fast food brand LEON and Deliveroo will be delivering free LGBT+ children’s books with meals throughout June.

As International Pride Month kicks off, the first online Global LGBTQIA+ Pride has announced the initial line-up of speakers and artists appearing in the event on June 27. And it’s expected to attract up to 300 million viewers.

June is Gay Pride Month, and with most of the country under restrictions due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, most major Pride events are canceled. Thankfully, there’s plenty of entertaining and informative LGBTQ content to fill the entire month (and a few starting in May).

While we can't be in the streets marching together to demonstrate LGBTQ solidarity and Pride this year thanks to the coronavirus pandemic, there's at least a uniquely 2020 rallying cry to help us honor the LGBTQ giants whose shoulder we stand on: "Alexa, open Pride History."Starting Friday (May 29), Amazon Music is launching a number of Pride Month initiatives that spotlight musicians on the forefront of queer culture today and remind us of the pioneers who came before.

June is Pride Month, and though this year's festivities will look a lot different than previous years due to the coronavirus pandemic, there are other ways to celebrate the LGBTQ community. Our suggestion, given that we're TV Guide? Since you can't get out and surround yourself with like minds at a Pride parade, there's no shame in surrounding yourself with some good queer-friendly television.
