Vernon Kay kicked Love Island star Jay Younger off This Morning after his exercise confession left the host speechless. In a segment during Tuesday's episode of the ITV daytime show, Jay and hi fellow Islanders Billy Brown and Deji Adeniyi, were in the studio to model Lisa Snowdon's swimwear collection for men.
But as Jay effortlessly paraded on This Morning's catwalk wearing a pair of teal Adidas shorts, Vernon, 48, and his co-host Rochelle Humes were left with their mouths wide open when Scotsman 28, made a comment about his fitness routine. As Lisa finished the description of the garment, Vernon asked Jay: "What's your favourite stomach exercise for your abs?" "Erm I actually don't do any stomach exercises," Jay replied grinning, as Vernon immediately leapt out of his seat.Taking Jay's arm, he pulled him forward and shouted: "Mate, get off!" Rochelle was seen laughing as Lisa commented: "Oh whatever!" "That's outrageous! Why would you say that? Why would you say that?!" Vernon shouted, as Lisa added: "That's just rude! Rude!" The studio erupted with laughter as Vernon escorted Jay out of camera view.
Earlier on in the show, Vernon took part in a brief workout alongside Jay and Billy with Peloton Instructor Ben Alldis.The four men demonstrated key exercises to help keep your stomach toned and Vernon seemed too keen to prove that he could do a minute-long plank, despite not being dressed for the occasion. Earlier this year, Vernon and his wife Tess Daly recently enjoyed a sun-soaked family getaway to Greece alongside their two daughters Phoebe, 17, and Amber, 13.The presenter penned in the caption: "An amazing week in Greece with the girls!!
