It's only been three months since High School Musical: The Musical: The Series wrapped up its stellar first season. However, considering everything the world has been through in 2020 already, those three months feel like a lifetime. Even though HSMTMTS Season 2 as one of the hundreds of productions that were shut down amid the coronavirus pandemic, TV Guide has obtained a sneak peek of some new East High musical content and frankly, it's what we need right now.

Months before the November 2019 premiere of the Disney+ show High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, in which emerging actor-musician Joshua Bassett stars as Ricky Bowen, his manager helped him land a meeting with Nate Albert, executive vp A&R at Warner Records. Bassett arrived with a dozen demos ready to perform on guitar.

A clip of Vanessa Hudgens insensitively talking about the coronavirus went viral yesterday, drawing criticism because of the tone-deaf way Hudgens spoke about the virus's possible impact. Hudgens posted an apology video on her Instagram Story and a Note post on her Twitter, but the internet wasn't impressed.

Broadway star Laura Benanti couldn't imagine a world without high school musicals after coronavirus caused many theater productions to close their curtains. So she put a call out to kids to virtually perform their #SunshineSongs because, as they say in theater, the show must go on."Dark times for all.

Now that (at least for now), your fave celebs are finding ways to stay connected to their fans during the current coronavirus pandemic. And guess what? Vanessa Hudgens is a prime example (see: her video)! But instead of chatting with her followers to spread hope in this confusing time, Vanessa made some insensitive comments about a virus that's literally claiming lives all around the world.

Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens are throwing it all the way back during their self-quarantine amid the coronavirus outbreak. The former "High School Musical" stars took to Instagram on Monday and shared a video of themselves dancing to the Disney Channel movie's beloved song "We're All In This Together." Tisdale, 34, performed the exact choreography in a Tik Tok video.

Yesterday, Ashley Tisdale graced out feeds with her vintage High School Musical moves while dancing to “We’re All In This Together” from the Disney classic. Upon calling for others to join her, her friend and former co-star Vanessa Hudgens joined in on the fun, but in her own special way! Dueting with Ashley, Vanessa poured a big glass of red wine and guzzled it while lip syncing the song.
