 Vanessa Bryant  honored the loves of her live in a permanent way. The wife and mother of the late  Kobe  and  Gianna Bryant  took to her social media to share two throwback videos of tattoo sessions with Los Angeles-based artist Nikko Hurtado.

After riots in Los Angeles, Vanessa Bryant appreciated that murals of Kobe and Gigi were saved amid protests for George Floyd. Vanessa—who lost her husband and her 13-year-old daughter in a helicopter crash on January 26—took to her Instagram Stories on Monday, June 1, to share photos of several murals of Kobe and Gigi that went untouched by rioters.

The city of Los Angeles now has several murals of Kobe Bryant and his daughter, Gianna Bryant, following their deaths in a helicopter crash in January. These murals have managed to escape damage amidst the protests for George Floyd that have been going on in the city for the last several days. Kobe’s wife, Vanessa Bryant, took to Instagram on June 1 to share her appreciation for the fact that the murals have gone ‘untouched.’

While the protests in Los Angeles escalated to violence and vandalism over the weekend, murals honoring Kobe Bryant and his late daughter, Gianna, have largely remained untouched. As Vanessa Bryant shared on social media on Monday, even the one mural that was threatened by fire was saved from damage.
