Vanessa Bryant asks fans to wear red in honour of daughter Gianna’s birthday

Vanessa Bryant, 38, snuggled up to her baby daughter Capri in an adorable new snap! In the May 16 Instagram photo, the proud mom planted a kiss on her 10-month-old daughter’s head, as she sat on her lap in a cute cheetah print jumpsuit. “I love you Koko Bean,” Vanessa captioned the pic, with a red heart emoji.

We can only imagine how bittersweet this past Mother’s Day must have been for Vanessa Bryant.

Following the tragic loss of her daughter Gianna Bryant and her husband Kobe Bryant, Vanessa Bryant continues to be surrounded by a strong support system and continues to be showered with love.  On Mother's Day, the 38-year-old shared the many thoughtful gifts she received from couple Gabrielle Union and Dwayne Wade, singer Ciara, TV personality La La Anthony, basketball player Julius Randle and co-founder of Lil' Libros Patty Rodriguez.  But the best gifts of all came from her daughter Natalia

Vanessa Bryant had her three daughters (Natalia, 17, Bianka, 3, and Capri, 10 months) by her side as she rang in her 38th birthday on May 5. She took to Instagram to share a family photo of the celebration, which doubled as a Cinco de Mayo party. In the pic, the gorgeous mama is carrying Capri, while receiving a hug from Natalia, with Bianka standing by her legs. The whole family is all smiles while surrounded by flowers and pinatas, which Vanessa noted were gifts from the girls.

Not the birthday she imagined. Vanessa Bryant turned 38 on Tuesday, May 5, and celebrated by reading a letter from her late husband, Kobe Bryant.

There is absolutely no denying the resilience that Vanessa Bryant has shown in the four months since she lost her husband, Kobe Bryant, and the couple’s 13-year-old daughter, Gianna ‘Gigi’ Bryant.  Vanessa Bryant  remembered her and  Kobe Bryant ’s late teenage daughter Gianna “Gigi” Bryant on what would have been her 14th birthday. On Friday, May 1, the 37-year-old took to her social media to share a picture of her smiling daughter sporting Mickey Mouse ears. “Happy 14th Birthday to my sweet baby girl, Gianna. Mommy loves you more than I can ever show you,” she wrote. “You are part of MY SOUL forever. I wish I could wake up and have you here with me.”
