Vanessa has already posted several pictures to Instagram of her teen opening up acceptance letters from schools such as NYU.

Congratulations are in order! Vanessa Bryant announced on Tuesday, March 30, that her and Kobe Bryant’s eldest daughter, Natalia, received an acceptance letter from her top school.

Kobe Bryant famously skipped college and joined the NBA out of high school. While Natalia Bryant, the 18-year-old daughter of the late NBA legend and Vanessa Bryant, isn’t going to follow in his footsteps, Kobe would be proud of what she revealed on March 30. After showing love for top schools in New York, California, and Oregon, the newly signed model decided she would study at the prestigious University of Southern California.

Vanessa Bryant continues to pay tribute to her late daughter Gianna “Gigi” Bryant and husband Kobe Bryant, following their tragic deaths in a helicopter crash in January of 2020. On Tuesday night, the proud mom, 38, showed off her new ink — “vato-style” tattoo with the word “Mambacita” on her arm. “Mambacita” is a play off of Kobe’s “Mamba” mentality persona and was passed down to Gianna because of her elite skills on the basketball court.

“I [heart emoji] you, Natalia Bryant,” Vanessa Bryant captioned the picture she posted to Instagram on Sunday (Mar. 21). In the picture, the 38-year-old widow of Kobe Bryant posed alongside their 18-year-old daughter inside of what appeared to be a Rolls Royce. Natalia had a bright smile on her face while her mother rocked a pair of large sunglasses. However, at a quick glance, one wouldn’t be faulted for thinking that Vanessa was Natalia’s older sister instead of her mother.
