Former Van Halen singer Sammy Hagar wishes he could get the band back together. The rocker spoke about the memories he has with the group, telling USA Today, "I cherish them more than ever." Hagar joined Van Halen, founded by the late Eddie Van Halen, his brother Alex Van Halen and Michael Anthony after the departure of lead singer David Lee Roth. After a successful run with the band from 1985-1996, Hagar and the other members of Van Halen parted ways on not-so-great terms. "What happened with us at the end is just such a shame," Hagar said of the breakup.
"It’s what happens when alcohol and drugs are involved and I’m going through a divorce, and man, it’s such a shame." The band eventually reunited with Hagar in 2003, and they continued releasing new music and touring. Eddie's son with ex-wife Valerie Bertinelli, Wolfgang, also joined the band as a bass player in 2007. Sadly, in 2020, Eddie Van Halen lost his battle with throat cancer.
A month after his death, Wolfgang told Howard Stern the band was done, saying, "You can’t have Van Halen without Eddie Van Halen." The loss still effects Hagar. "I miss Ed dearly," he said. He also felt nostalgic for the band’s time on stage.

was underskilled on screen this time. The film, now streaming on Apple TV+, follows Cole (Evans) as he tries to find love with Sadie (Ana de Armas) after a pretty perfect spontaneous date. When she appears to be ghosting him, he plans a grand romantic gesture — at least…in his eyes — to show up in London, where he’s tracked her down to using his phone.
Chris Evans has revealed that hosting Saturday Night Live would immediately give him “anxiety” and that he has “avoided” the opportunity.During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the actor was alongside his co-star Ana de Armas discussing their new film Ghosted. The conversation was introduced as the Blonde actress shared that she would be hosting SNL herself. When Evans was asked about a potential future appearance on the comedy sketch series, the Captain America actor said he would much rather make a small cameo than host the show.“Well, now a cameo I can handle,” Evans replied.
Michaela Zee editor Chris Evans saved the world (and even the universe) multiple times as Captain America. But in his latest Apple TV+ action film “Ghosted,” it’s Ana de Armas who’s doing the rescuing. “It was great. I mean, we’ve all seen Ana be badass; she was so good in [‘No Time to Die’],” Evans told Variety at the New York premiere of “Ghosted” on Tuesday night. “It was nice to be the damsel in distress. It was nice to need saving — primarily because I didn’t have to sweat during the action sequences.” Directed by Dexter Fletcher (“Rocketman,” “Eddie the Eagle”), “Ghosted” follows hopelessly romantic Cole (Evans), who falls head over heels for the enigmatic Sadie (de Armas). When Sadie seemingly ghosts him, Cole follows her to London as a romantic gesture, only to discover that the girl of his dreams is a CIA agent on assignment.
