The 65-year-old musician, who is a part-time resident of Massachusetts’ Berkshires region, put on the surprise performance after receiving his second dose of the COVID-19 vaccination.

according to an Instagram post from the school.“Today at the #MyBCC vaccination clinic, the folks waiting for 15 minutes in observation were graced with the musical talents of the one and only Yo-Yo Ma,” the caption reads. The 65-year-old musician can be seen in videos sitting in the waiting area — masked and socially distanced — gracefully playing his cello while his audience looks in awe.
