Uzo Aduba To Headline ‘All Her Little Secrets’ Limited Series Adaptation In Works At Showtime

Following months of negotiations, Netflix has landed the rights to popular XBox video game Gears of War. The streamer will partner with The Coalition, the video game developer behind the series, and work with them to not only develop a feature film adaptation but also an animated series.

Country music drama limited series George & Tammy, starring Oscar winner Jessica Chastain (The Eyes of Tammy Faye) and Oscar nominee Michael Shannon (Nocturnal Animals), is headed to Showtime.

Witherspoon was dining across from Zoe Saldaña, who was accompanied by her Italian husband and exchanging bits of dialogue in his native tongue, when she realized the “Avatar” star would be the perfect actor to play Amy. The show is an epic love story about Amy’s whirlwind romance with a hunky Sicilian chef named Lino (Eugenio Mastrandrea), who she meets while studying abroad in Italy. When Lino is diagnosed with cancer, the couple must reconcile with family and navigate their love in the face of imminent loss.

HBO Max is developing Heatwave, a limited series from director Shannon Murphy (Killing Eve), writer Anna Symon (Mrs. Wilson) and Banijay’s Tiger Aspect Productions.

The first trailer gives a closer look at both of their characters, with Blunt playing an aristocratic Englishwoman named Lady Cornelia Locke while Spencer plays a Pawnee ex-cavalry scout named Eli Whipp. According to Prime Video, the two “come together in 1890 middle America to cross a violent landscape built on dreams and blood.
