Utopia has secured North American rights to House of Cardin, a documentary about the life and work of legendary fashion designer and entrepreneur Pierre Cardin. Directed by P. David Ebersole and Todd Hughes, the doc had its premiere at last year’s Venice International Film Festival and will be released in August ahead of September’s New York Fashion Week. It’ll also have a subsequent Paris premiere hosted by Cardin.

BritBox, the subscription video streaming service from BBC Studios and ITV, has picked up the rights to an extensive collection of Agatha Christie films, TV series and audio plays for its North American service. The acquisition — which includes additional series of Poirot starring David Suchet and newly restored high-definition versions of ITV's Marple and Partners in Crime— gives the platform the largest combined collection of Christie adaptations available in North America.
