Police Scotland have launched an appeal to trace a missing 14-year-old who was disappeared last week. Dean Emslie, 14, was last seen by family near Pitscottie in Fife at around 11pm on Thursday, December 1.
He was reported missing the following morning after failing to return home. Authorities believe the last confirmed sighting of the schoolboy was around noon in the Hope Street area of Peterhead on Friday, December 2.
Dean is described as being around 5ft11in tall, with a slim build and brown hair. He is believed to have been wearing a black Nike hat, black tracksuit and white Nike trainers.
Officers have been reviewing CCTV footage in and around the area in the hopes of tracing the missing teen. They are now asking anyone who may have seen Dean to get in touch.
Anyone who may have seen Dean since this time, or who has any information on his whereabouts, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 0632 of December 2.
