A man has been arrested and a woman remains in hospital following a fight in east Manchester.
Police were called to Harley Street, in Openshaw, just after 10.30pm on Friday to reports of a fight.
When officers arrived they found a 52-year-old woman and a 50-year-old man both with head and face injuries.
The two victims were taken to hospital, where the woman remains in a stable condition.
Her injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
The man has since been discharged.
