Two men have been arrested after cops discovered a cannabis farm at a former Scots care home.
Police Scotland officers carried out the drugs raid at Mariners' Home on Newark Street in Greenock on February 14 in a pre planned operation. One 29-year-old man and a 36-year-old man were arrested following the successful drugs bust.
Residents in the area reported a high police presence throughout today while the force confirmed there was no danger to the wider public.
A Police Scotland Spokesperson said: "Two men aged, 29 and 36, have been arrested following a pre-planned operation in Greenock."

They added: "On Wednesday 14 February 2024, officers, acting under warrant, entered a property in Newark Street and discovered a cannabis cultivation site. Enquiries remain ongoing."
