The Masked Singer UK, returned for another round of head-scratching musical covers tonight (January 30). Lit up by guest judge Alan Carr, this week's instalment featured a dramatic double elimination, meaning seven celebrity singers were whittled down to just five.

The hit singing competition, which was filmed before current lockdown restrictions were introduced, is presented by Joel Dommett and features panellists Rita Ora, Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall and Mo Gilligan, who all sit separated by perspex glass. Seven mystery singers took to the stage before two of them were eliminated and unmasked this evening.

Tom Read-Wilson is fast becoming quite the national treasure following his appearance on Celebs Go Dating. Since joining the show in 2016, the 34-year-old has become part of the show’s furniture and as important to viewers as the crop of celebs featuring each season.Tom acts as the show’s receptionist, on hand to meet and greet the celebs looking for love on the show.

Alan Carr has made a weight loss pact with Judge Robert Rinder. The 44-year-old comedian put on three stone during the first two coronavirus lockdowns, but the TV presenter knew he had to change his diet when he couldn't get a pair of jeans over his stomach.
