Tributes to 'very popular' 16-year-old killed in crash after police chase

A 15-year-old boy was arrested in connection with a shooting at Mayfair shopping mall on Friday that injured eight, Wauwatosa Police Chief Barry Weber said during a news conference Sunday. He added that a firearm also was recovered.   An initial investigation revealed the incident was "not a random act,"  Weber said.

Edinburgh. The child, named locally as Julius Czapla, was found by police after they were called to a block of flats in the Muirhouse area of the city around 9.30am on Saturday November 21.

Chicago police are searching for an SUV possibly used by a gunman who shot a 5-year-old boy in the head with a stray bullet Monday evening as he was playing with an iPad inside a home.  The child was on a couch around 7:30 p.m. when an SUV drove by the home on the 200 block of West 115th Street and someone inside opened fire, police said.  The child was shot in the head and rushed to the hospital to undergo surgery.

Officers were called to a report of a robbery on the off-road path in Manchester yesterday (November 11) at around 4.14pm.Enquiries established that a cyclist in his 30s had his bike stolen and was stabbed in the leg.He was taken to hospital and has since been discharged.Officers later found the bike and arrested a 15-year-old boy on suspicion of robbery and section 18 assault.

A 44-year-old man has been arrested in Oregon in the cold case murder of a young woman in Arkansas 16 years ago. William Miller was taken into custody over the weekend and charged with killing 22-year-old college student Rebekah Christian Gould in 2004 in Guion, a small town on the White River in Izard County, police said.They announced the arrest Monday.
