Tributes have been paid to a pensioner who died in a south Manchester flat fire.
Margaret Russell, 71, was rushed to hospital with critical injuries following the blaze at her home on Broom Lane in Levenshulme on Monday.
She died a short time later.
An investigation into the cause of the fire has been launched, but police say there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.
