A man from Trafford has been charged with firearms offences after a burglary in Cheshire.Keith Stewart, of Arundel Avenue in Urmston, Greater Manchester, was arrested shortly before 11am on Wednesday 11 November.He was arrested in Salford and has subsequently been charged with burglary.Stewart has also been charged with possession of a shotgun without a certificate and when prohibited for life.The charges all relate to an incident that occurred in Shaw Street, Warrington, at around 8pm on

A man has been charged in connection with an alleged assault in Gorton.Officers were called to a report of a disturbance on Hyde Road at around 4.25pm on Tuesday (November 24). Two people were taken to hospital, one with life-changing injuries, police said.Inocencio Moto, 30, of St Phillips Road, Gorton has been charged with section 18; and section 47 assault.He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Manchester Magistrates' Court this today (Thursday).
