The Trafford Centre is hosting a Christmas gift and essential items donation point to help ease the cost of living and energy crisis on residents of the borough.
The shopping centre is encouraging visitors to work together and support local individuals, families and communities who need some extra festive cheer as rising inflation bites.
Donations have been accepted at the customer services desk since Monday, October 17, and members of the public can kindly donate a variety of categorised items. The last day Trafford Centre are accepting donations is Sunday, December 18 to give the team at Trafford Centre, Trafford Council and Trafford Community Hubs the very best chance of sorting and distributing the kind gifts ahead of Christmas day.

A spokesperson for The Trafford Centre said: "The Trafford Centre are proud to partner with Trafford Council and Trafford Community Hubs, introducing an important festive donation scheme to the centre this Christmas.
"With a core aim to help create a positive difference, to those who may need financial support, some gifting love or help in making their house feel like a home this winter with everything from winter warmers, Christmas presents, decorations and everyday essentials; Trafford Centre kindly asks visitors to join in with this initiative and offer support."

Week 2 (w/c October 24): Toiletries / Baby Consumables (nappies, wipes, baby food, blankets etc)
Week 3 (w/c October 31): Warm items (hot water bottles, gloves, woolly socks etc)
Week 4 (w/c November 7): Christmas Decorations/ Christmas Crackers
Week 5 (w/c November 14): Pyjamas and slippers
