After the sad passing of former Top Gear host, Sabine Schmitz, the team has confirmed they will honour her in a special tribute during the hit show. The German racer was known as the Queen of the Nurburgring and passed away after being diagnosed with cancer in 2017.
The 51-year-old was popular with fans, who loved seeing her show Jeremy Clarkson a thing or two about racing around the popular German circuit, so it’s fitting that the BBC series pays tribute to her.
