Tom Parker and his wife Kelsey heartbreakingly spoke about wanting to have more children in one of their last joint interviews. Kelsey confirmed the devastating news of Tom's passing on Wednesday 30 March with scores of tributes pouring in.
He had been bravely fighting an inoperable brain tumour since he was diagnosed with it in 2020. In her tribute to her husband, Kelsey said she was "proud of him for fighting to the end" - and his positive attitude did not go unnoticed as he had previously detailed plans to be cancer-free by March.
In fact, Tom, who shared Aurelia, two, and one-year-old Bodhi with Kelsey, was so optimistic about his recovery, he even spoke to OK! about his dreams to add to his brood. In one of their last interviews with us during the festive period in December, 32 year old Kelsey explained: "Tom keeps saying he's broody!" She added: "We don't know, we can't say when.
We definitely will have more children." Tom then said: "I'd like to have more, but I'd like to get myself into a better health condition." The couple, who tied the knot in 2018, admitted that while they hoped the New Year could see them becoming parents for the third time, they felt very lucky to have Aurelia and Bodhi already. Kelsey mentioned: "Everything happens for a reason.
We're blessed we've got a boy and a girl. The age gap was short." Tom agreed, adding: "So if we didn't have any more, we'd be happy," as Kelsey interjected: "But we will have more!" Further opening up about how they see their 2022 playing out, Tom answered at the time: "Hopefully cancer-free, more babies and more shows with The Wanted." Announcing the devastating news, Kelsey took to Instagram on Wednesday, 30 March. She wrote: "It is with the heaviest of hearts
