The novel coronavirus has made its rounds worldwide after first emerging in the Wuhan, Hubei, province in China back in 2019 — and today’s biggest stars are not immune.

Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson are out of the Queensland hospital they were holed up in for some five days following their worldwide announcement that they tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19), People magazine reported on Monday. A rep for Hanks told the outlet the husband and wife pair had left the hospital in Australia and were now being quarantined in a rental property to “social distance” themselves, which is being encouraged throughout the world.

Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson have been released from the hospital, multiple outlets report. The Oscar winner's rep tells E! News the celebrities are in quarantine in their home in Australia.  The update comes five days after Hanks revealed he and his wife tested positive for coronavirus.
