Corden has decided to leave “The Late Late Show” in the spring of 2023.  A panel format could encompass a wide range of concepts, such as the news-roundtable program “Politically Incorrect,” which Bill Maher led on ABC late-nights between 1997 and 2002, or even the frenetic game-show stylings of “@midnight,” which aired in late night on Comedy Central between 2013 and 2017.

On the heels of his latest Tom Cruise stunt, The Late Late Show‘s James Corden has reunited with another frequent guest, Harry Styles, who trusted the comedian with making a music video for his song “Daylight.” In his directorial debut, Corden shot the video in Brooklyn for $300 in three hours. The duo knocked on a couple of doors until four young women opened their apartment for Corden, Styles and their crew.

Tom Cruise put his pilot's license to good use as he took "The Late Late Show" host James Corden on a few "terrifying" flights in the sky ahead of the "Top Gun: Maverick" release on Friday, May 27. "I'm very excited that James is doing this," Cruise admitted in a special segment where he prepped to fly Corden in both a vintage fighter plane and a modern war jet.

Cruise persuaded The Late Late Show host to go on the daring adventure while promoting the movie, a sequel to fighter-pilot action movie, Top Gun, which comes out in cinemas Friday. The stunt was even more hair-raising than the previous time the pair were filmed jumping out of an aeroplane for Corden’s talk show four years ago.

Bloc Party have made their return to The Late Late Show with James Corden, performing their 2021 single ‘Traps’ on the show.The performance, which aired on Tuesday night (May 24), marked the band’s third time appearing on the show. The Flight Attendant‘s Kaley Cuoco and Top Gun: Maverick actor Glen Powell were also guests on the evening’s taping.

James Corden is set to make his UK TV return after quitting The Late Late Show in a new series based on ‘a relationship drama but also a whodunit. ’The Gavin and Stacey actor, 43, announced last month that the last instalment of his American talk show would come to an end next year, as he plans to move back to the UK after spending nearly a decade in the US with his family. After much speculation on his next UK project, with some fans convinced of a Gavin and Stacey reboot and others concerned about him appearing in Doctor Who, James will actually be starring in Jez Butterworth’s Mammals, which began filming last year.

Smashing Pumpkins performed their 1993 classic ‘Today’ on a recent episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden.The outfit went on the programme late last week to perform the track, lifted from second studio album ‘Siamese Dream’.Speaking to host James Corden about the song choice, frontman Billy Corgan joked: “I wrote this song at a very depressing moment in my life and I knew I was going to see you [Corden].
