The Dune co-stars reunited to promote their upcoming movie Dune: Part Two at 2023 CinemaCon on Tuesday afternoon (April 25) at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
The actors were joined by director Denis Villeneuve, who explained the differences between Part One and Part Two. A new trailer was also shown!

“Part One is more of a contemplative movie. Part Two is an action-packed, epic, war movie. It is much more dense. We went to all new locations,” Denis said (via THR). “I didn’t want a feeling of repititon. It’s all new sets. Everyting is new.”
100% of the movie was shot on IMAX cameras, compared to 40% in the first movie.
Timothee said at the panel, “In the first movie, Paul is a student. We really see Paul Atrides become a leader … become a redeemer of the Fremen people in a sense.”
