Tickets have gone on sale for the new £1m Peter Rabbit attraction opening on Blackpool's sea front.
We reported earlier this month how Peter Rabbit Explore and Play is opening next door to the famous Madame Tussauds.
Based on the much-loved animated television series produced by Silvergate Media, it has been 18 months in the making and joins Merlin’s six other attractions including The Blackpool Tower and Sea Life Blackpool.
In what is Merlin's first stand-alone visitor attraction experience based on the programme, visitors will be invited to hop into the over-sized world of Peter and his friends to 'embark on an adventure across five fluffy-tailed themed zones'.
Merlin says: "Guests will need to think like a rabbit, move like a rabbit and deploy rabbit-like senses with a whole burrow-full of creativity in order to complete the challenges and earn badges – seeing if they have the skills to join the secret treehouse club."
Guests will also be able to meet, greet and ‘high-paw’ Peter himself.
Bosses have now confirmed the attraction will open on Saturday, February 12.
Tickets have now gone on sale, priced £8.50 for adults and £11.50 for children. Under ones and carers go free, but still require tickets.
“We are thrilled to be welcoming such an icon to Blackpool," said regional director Kate Shane.
"Peter Rabbit is a well-loved household name for young and old and is globally renowned. We are delighted that this new attraction concept will be created here in Blackpool first.
"We firmly support Blackpool’s overall ambition to be the UK’s number one family seaside resort and with such a family-favourite brand joining our Blackpool Cluster of attractions we can’t wait to ‘hop’ to it and get the experience open."

British outré filmmaker Peter Strickland is stuck in the past in the very best sense of the phrase. Whether he’s making eerie, giallo throwback pictures (“Berberian Sound Studio”), psychedelic softcore fetish control movies (“The Duke Of Burgundy”), or strange, bizarre horrors that are a mix of English kitchen-sink realism and ghoulish creepiness (“In Fabric”), Strickland is always creating some kind of vintage, throwback picture with heavy nods to the ‘60s and ‘70s of erotic, kink, strange, and left-of-center cinema.
